What we know

Built in 1881 with vertical barn siding on a stone foundation; now the Sheldon Jackson Chapel of the Monument Community Presbyterian Church, per the library's cataloger (PPLD records of survey B68). From the late 1920s or early 1930s until 1985 the old Gwillimville schoolhouse stood south of the church as its Sunday school and community hall; the Monument Homemakers Club refitted it in 1938-39 (Lavelett's 1985 letter, quoted by Carrigan; von Ahlefeldt p. 45 calls it part of the 'Christian Endeavor Building').

Where it was

Southeast corner of Jefferson and 3rd streets (PPLD records of survey photos B68); that corner in OpenStreetMap (2026-10-05).

A feature drawn in OpenStreetMap, such as a park or a lake.
