What we know

Two-story brick school of 1920 by Thomas MacLaren (spelled MacLauren in the library's record), named for county superintendent Inez Johnson Lewis; it replaced Monument's three-room school and took in five neighboring schools. Later School District 38's administration building (PPLD record of survey B70).

A street address placed along its block; good to a few hundred feet.
