What we know

Called Monument in 1870, then Edgerton-Monument, then Edgerton (McFarling 1958); PO 1870-1902, then moved to Pikeview. Gone, on Academy land. The Kearney-Hand murders of about March 30, 1888 happened at Hand's ranch 'a mile and a half northwest of Edgerton station' (newspapers, 1888).

Wikipedia (approximate). Place Names of Colorado puts it in Sec. 36, T12S R67W, '8 mi N of Colorado Springs'; that section's center is within half a mile of this point.
