Also: now the Larkspur post office

SchoolsLiving todayDouglas County

What we know

'Originally a one-room brick schoolhouse built in 1896', enlarged 1932 and 1959; 'The Larkspur Post Office is in the building that was built and first used as the Larkspur Elementary School' (binder statements of 1998 and about 2007). Placed at GNIS's post-office point (2013); the 1956 county map's 'School' symbol, georeferenced, falls within 300 feet of it (Larkspur Historical Society binder 1 p. 220).
