What we know

David Rice Williams's homestead and cheese factory on West Cherry Creek (from 1873 per the binders; 'Williamsville' in the newspapers from 1895). Cherry PO opened spring 1900, 'locally known as Williamsville'; closed 1920.

Where it was

Approximate (about half a mile): 'The Pratt schoolhouse, a mile south of Williamsville' (1899); the Cherry School lot at the NE corner of Sec. 12, T10S R66W (deeds); the post office on the later Anderson ranch, 10425 S. Hwy 83, placed by interpolating addresses along Hwy 83; Place Names of Colorado's Sec. 6, T10S R65W is half a mile east.
