## What we know

Ben Quick's stone ranch house, built in 1884 (inventory record), 7355 S. Perry Park Road; Quick came in 1860 and took up the homestead in 1861; he died Feb. 2, 1915. Fort Washington stood around his earlier house and barn.

NE1/4 SW1/4 of Sec. 13, T9S R68W (Colorado Historical Society building inventory record, Larkspur Historical Society binder 10 p. 5; a 1978 deed for 45.85 acres in the W1/2 of Sec. 13 agrees, p. 110). Center of that quarter-quarter; good to about a quarter mile.
