## What we know

Baptist assembly grounds north of Baptist Road (GNIS, Monument quadrangle, 1978). Lucille Lavelett (as quoted in 2008 and 2011) says the grounds had been 'one of the largest and best fox farms in the west', Mr. Shelby's. Judy von Ahlefeldt and Vera Ellett instead put a William Brown fox farm at today's Fox Run Park, just east, and Shelby's farm on Ayer's Road. When the Baptists came, and whether Baptist Road is named for the camp, is not yet sourced.
